Protecting Privacy and Tracking

PurePrivacy takes into account that privacy and information security is paramount to our customers. Thus, we offer a security and privacy enhanced feature for our subscribers in the product. We offer a Tracker Blocker as a paid subscription service. The purpose of this feature is to provide our users with a top-notch level of privacy and security by blocking online trackers. This feature blocks ad trackers and plugins that monitor online activity of our customers and users for redirections or for promotional and marketing purposes.

This new feature works to create the app to function as a local VPN (Virtual Private Network) and filters traffic and requests from trackers that seeks to trace user activity or redirects them when the users are surfing or browsing the internet by ensuring their privacy. This is done through an exhaustive list of trackers which is managed and update by us in a timely manner. For this purpose, the app processes device network data which is essential and mandatory to provide the establishment of this network and to filter the traffic which will otherwise be traced to our users. This processing is solely done on the device and nothing is sent to our servers or over any cloud servers at all. This feature is available to be activated and deactivated at will by our users and provide an enhanced security and user experience.
